Starting today, the intersection of S. Walnut Street and South Street, in Wooster, is being permanently converted from a signalized intersection to a stop sign-controlled intersection. Motorists are asked to please be cognizant of the change when traveling through the intersection. The traffic signal heads will be covered but remain in place for a couple of months before the signals, along with the poles and arms, and all other related signal equipment are removed.
