In Wooster traffic news, ODOT contractors will be performing repairs to the traffic count station along SR 3 & SR 83, which is located to the north of the Portage Road bridge. Work will take place today thru Thursday. The city says there will be shoulder and single lane closures in the northbound left lane. Elsewhere, Old Airport Road will also be closed today at its intersection with Daisey Way. The closure, in effect until 4pm, is due to resurfacing work. Motorists are advised to use Geyers Chapel Road and/or Akron Road to avoid the work area.
