Rails-to-Trails of Wayne County will be closing the gap of the Heartland Trail bike trail this summer, between Orrville and Clinton. Construction will begin on that section of the trail this month, with work expected to be completed by the end of October. Rails-to-Trails officials say the project is being supported by several different grants.
