The College of Wooster has been given a $6 million donation from Doon and John Foster that will be used to renovate one of the college’s residence halls.  The college says most of the money will go toward the renovation of Compton Hall, which as part of the improvements, will be upgraded with modern amenities such as air conditioning and an accessible elevator.  $1 million will also be set aside for Holden Hall.  That money will help with the planning phase for renovations and infrastructural enhancements there.  The Fosters have a long history of supporting the College of Wooster, including donations to Brush Hall, the Scot Center, and the Lowry Center.
