Wayne County’s Emergency Management Agency has a new director. County Commissioners recently offered the job to Jerry Winkler, who accepted their offer and will officially begin his new position on February 18th. Winkler has more than three decades of experience as a first responder. He is a state certified firefighter, paramedic and emergency services instructor.
